Frank Burgess
Frank Burgess, Founder/Chairman
Frank founded the Madison firm in 1974 and is currently Chairman of the Board. He is involved in overall corporate strategy and structure and continues to serve as co-portfolio manager of the firmís Covered Call investment strategies. Frank has degrees in Engineering from Iowa State University and Law from the University of Wisconsin. He currently serves as Trustee of the firmís closed-end funds (MSP and MCN) and Director of Capitol Bankshares of Madison WI, American Riviera Bank of Santa Barbara CA, and Outrider Foundation.

Kay Frank
Kay Frank, Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer
Kay joined the firm in 1986. Today she has responsibility for the day-to-day business operations of the company, and directly oversees all back office and client service functions. In addition, she serves as the President and Trustee of the firmís proprietary mutual fund families and has been closely involved in the acquisition and integration of affiliates into the Madison organization. She has been a member of the firmís Executive Committee since its inception. Kay received an economics degree with honors from Macalaster College.

Paul Lefurgey, CFA
Paul Lefurgey, CFA, Executive Director/Head of Fixed Income for Madison Investment Advisors
Mr. Lefurgey leads Madison Investment Advisors' Fixed Income investment team and oversees the implementation our fixed income strategy. He is also a member of its Investment Strategy Committee. Mr. Lefurgey was previously Head of Fixed Income at Members Capital Advisors and similarly at Duff & Phelps Investment Management. He is a CFA charterholder and a graduate of Michigan State University.

Jay Sekelsky, CFA
Jay Sekelsky, CFA, Executive Director/Chief Investment Officer of Madison Investment Advisors
Mr. Sekelsky serves as the lead equity manager for Madison Investment Advisors' equity portfolios. A member of Madison Investment Advisors' Investment Strategy Committee and Asset Allocation Committee, Mr. Sekelsky joined Madison Investment Advisors in 1990, coming from Wellington Management Company in Boston, where he was an investment officer. He holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Wisconsin and is a CFA charterholder. He is an Executive Director of both Madison Scottsdale and Madison Investment Advisors.

Steven A. Carl
Steven A. Carl, Executive Director/Head of Business Development
Mr. Carl is a member of the firmís Executive Committee and is Head of Business Development for Madison. He has primary responsibility for the firm's Marketing and Sales efforts. He also leads Madisonís Strategic Accounts Team. Prior to joining Madison in 2003, Steve worked for Strong Capital Management, Hewitt Associates and Coopers & Lybrand, LLC. He holds a B.B.A. from The University of Wisconsin-Madison and maintains the CIMA and CPA designations and is FINRA registered.
